Reading "Americanah" by Chimamanda Ngozie Adichie reignited my desire to share the stories of immigrants like myself. The main character Ifemelu , is a fellow international student whose experiences resonated deeply with some of my own. Her story awakened a sense of purpose , reminding me of the importance of amplifying the voices and tales of those who like me , have navigated the complexities of being an immigrant.
